Transform Health –  Evaluation of Transform Health’s #MyDataOurHealth Campaign

Summary: Q3 Strategy is currently undertaking the Evaluation of Transform Health’s (TH) #MyDataOurHealth (MDOH) Campaign.  In January 2023, THA launched the MDOH campaign in three West African (WA) (Benin, Cote d’Ivoire, and Senegal) and three East African (EA) (Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania) pilot countries as an approach to advocate for the development and adoption of an HDG framework. The campaign pilots in WA ended in December 2023, while the campaign in EA ended in the first quarter of 2024. As the pilot campaign approaches its endpoint, Q3 Strategy was commissioned to evaluate the MDOH campaign pilots

Approach: The evaluation of the MDOH campaign utilised a mixed-methods approach focusing on assessing reach, effectiveness, adoption, implementation, and maintenance/sustainability. Key lines of enquiry centred on progress, successes, and lessons learned from project pilots to support campaign scaling. Stakeholder selection involved mapping implementation partners across regions, with data collected through virtual focus group discussions (FGDs), semi-structured key informant interviews (KIIs), and an online survey. Data synthesis and analysis employed audio recordings, transcription, thematic analysis, and validation workshops to ensure comprehensive understanding and interpretation of findings.

OutcomeThe findings from this evaluation will be used to highlight the impact and successes to donors as well identify key lessons learnt that can be used by THA  for the next phase of the campaign and its adoption by the National Coalitions.
